began as a freelance contributor which later became a full-time position. Work has been primarily in a programming capacity in addition to design (web and print), Information Architecture and limited copywriting. In 2010 huber+co was acquired by Paul Werth Associates to quickly build an in-house web development/design team.

AI produced the majority of in-store signage, direct mail and newspaper ads and designed each of the semimonthly circulars after their reinstatement in the summer of 2004. Additionally, I developed supplemental art for the corporate website and intranet.

I constructed, and designed covers for, special sections (Best of Dublin, Fitness & Nutrition, Parade of Homes, Memorial Tournament among others) as well as single and multiple page promotional aides for distribution and ads. I participated in pre-press work for externally produced advertisements and designed ads both before and after the sale to assist the assist the retail sales staff in reaching new clients.

After doing illustrations for Principessa, a Grandview, OH boutique for SNP ads, the owner requested that I expand one for use in a promotional postcard.

Experiential

I’m skilled in design with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign and QuarkXpress on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. My web development experience is with PHP and MYSQL for the server-side and HTML, CSS and Javascript (primarily through jquery) on the front end. Of note is TweetMyTime which I created as a huber+co project and was later spun off a an independent business; It was awarded a 2009 Ohio Interactive Award for use of Twitter.

Days were spent in teaching courses in painting, drawing, printmaking, and others to campers seven to seventeen years old. I spent evenings and meals with bunk of eleven-twelve year-old boys.

University of Pittsburgh Track and Cross Country Teams

1996-2000

I competed for four years as a varsity student-athlete at the division one level in the Big East conference. Seven-time Athletic deans list (the eighth would have been the semester I was at Sea). Athletic Department Award of Academic Distinction.

Semester At Sea

Fall 1998.

I spent three and a half months aboard the SS Universe Explorer with stops of four to five days in Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Turkey, Israel, Italy, and Morocco. The rest of the time, aboard ship, was filled with accredited courses which related to the port nations.
